Not sure if that would have to do with the age of your device or not though. Just a thought worth putting out there. Which would mean KDE does better with older devices and that is nice.
Also as a user who has never had problems with phone link. My answer would be that we are both a logical fallacy for our experiences to represent the experiences of others.
I like Phone Link and I will give KDE a try for sure, especially if it works well. However, I find myself not using it as often as I thought I would.
