minus-square@[email protected]OPMlinkfedilink2•1 year agoI think watercolour is possibly the oldest method in the world. But as for painting of any kind, the sophistication of the renaissance was actually present much earlier, at the least in Roman times before making a resurgence later.
He painted that in 1502? That’s amazing! I expected the style at the time to be very primitive. And his signature looks cool too.
