Yup. They bought Alien Blue, swapped the logo colour to orange, made it the official logo and called it a day.
This is not true. They also stripped out a shit ton of functionality.
I was using Boost for Reddit, and I was always overwhelmed by the customization options. Absolutely loved it though.
The official app was a third party app until Reddit bought it.
