A massive, runaway hit, Baldur's Gate 3 is an exceptional PC release and a brilliant game. In this video review, Alex Battaglia discusses what appeals to him...
Optimized settings is everything on ultra, because I upgraded my desktop just for this game. Suffered with an underpowered PC for all of early access, and gave in and rebuilt my machine the day before release.
I used eBay to upgrade from 2010 to 2018. Cost about $450cad for a combo motherboard and ram. Already had a 3070 so it runs BG3 very well… not sure about Starfield tho
I got Starfield “free” with my Ryzen 7000 chip. I hope it’s as good as it looks. At least that makes up for what I paid for a 4090 🙄. Felt silly at the time, I have no willpower, but was running on 2 GTX 970s, and wanted to play at 4k. Worth every penny. Wouldn’t have done it if I already had a 30 series card, though. I suffered for years with those cards.
Optimised settings is almost everything on low, because I haven’t upgraded my desktop in ages.
