TTL means Through-The-Lens, basically the camera tells the flash how much power to use.

There’s definitely cool stuff to be had, but soon there will be all kinds of cool bugs, fungi, plants and whatnot and I’ll get out for all that. There’s really not a lot of interesting stuff yet, we’re still in early spring here.

I’d say you hit the exposure nicely then for not editing it. It came out looking great.
