    I don’t want to be a dick but I’m going to be a little bit. Sometimes it’s not negative energy, it’s just something you should learn, the commenter is right.

    Plaid and pleated are different things.

    Plaid is synonymous with tartan.

    Pleats are the little folds in the skirt.

    Your skirt is pleated, but not plaid.

    I even googled to double check I’m not super wrong. 🤷‍♂️

    You look fantastic in your skirt either way, and this discussion just drives engagement and makes the post more visible! Win-win!

      Plaid is synonymous with tartan ONLY on US. US isn’t the whole world nor does it have exclusive rights to English language. Something worth remembering. Not everyone speaks English English, some think their English is the only correct language. If we were to go back to the original language, then we would need to presume only English from UK is truly correct. But I don’t think it’s fair. Language evolves and changes and we usually use the one that we are grew up with, or learnt. Or from the conyty we live in.
