I’m also glad the doctor’s assistant recognized Ben. It was a bit of a stretch to say that no one recognized anyone, so I’m glad someone did.

Also unless I missed it, it still doesn’t explain why they started developing their powers. We know “who” but not the why. The doctor is trying to fix them, but what caused them to see her in the first place?

I’m guessing the assistant is to blame somehow. The doctor promised not to hurt Ben, but the assistant definitely did not.
