Black Watch museum would be good I bet, plenty of tours. Kinnoull hill looks a pretty walk too. And I saw the stone in Edinburgh castle already: and I can confirm it is a stone
I can confirm that Kinnoull Hill is a nice walk. The view from the folly is great, although it’s a bit of a shame that the traffic sounds on the road below are so loud. I’ve done the bLack Watch (took my grandmother there back when that wave of poppies artwork was on display). I’m perhaps more interested in the history around the stone than the stone itself in the museum. I agree, it’s not exactly an artistic masterpiece haha. I haven’t seen wikivoyage before, thank you for the link
