    SHA is symmetric and not too much in danger, it is especially asymmetric.

      One can argue that SHA1 is already broken by Google a while ago.

      They were able to make 2 different pdfs with the same SHA1 hash.

      QC will cause problems for symmetric hashing as they should be able to brute force more hashes

        If that would even properly work, that would be extremely expensive per secret decrypted. Now gpu decrypting with, say oclhashcat, that would be a lot more efficient.
