I kind of get that but I feel like their new characters have been pretty good for 6 and the designs are pretty cool, but yeah it’d be nice to have an idea of what kind of character they are.
SF6 is skewing young, like 2 age groups younger than the previous game. So it makes sense there’s really not all that much nostalgia going into character picks. They want to modernize it as much as possible to build on as the current teenagers grow up.
Original characters kind of feel like a let down when you don’t know anything about what they will be like. Hopefully they will be interesting.
