I guess in 2018 in a private email he said he was pumped for AI, then a few times more recently he said he was into it but that it should be relegated to “janitorial” work, now he’s saying he doesn’t believe it will be capable of making art in his lifetime. But he doesn’t seem to have a problem using it for non-art things, as he let people use an AI generated version of himself for promotional purposes
Right but those quotes are from the past. Most recently he says he isn’t interested in it. So if we take all of his quotes at face value, he was once was interested, but is no longer

I did read the article. It said that is he is no longer interested in AI but proceeds to give several pro-AI quotes HK said
