In most relationships and I don’t know if this is because I’m wiser beyond my years I have felt like I have been trying to raise a daughter more than sharing my life with a “future wife”. I’m the one that typically cooks, I’m the one that typically cleans, I’m the one that typically gets our finances in order, does the laundry, washes the dishes, etc. I’m the one that typically creates the plans to better our future and after doing all of this I wonder why I bother when I could be at peace by myself. submitted by /u/RC1992Jules

Is this what happens when you’re 45 and trying to date 18 year-olds?
