As spotted by XR analyst Brad Lynch, Valve has imported a large number “virtual reality devices” to its US-based warehouses, which can be none other than its long-awaited Steam Frame standalone VR headset.
As per the public records, Valve has imported some 32,000 kg (~35 US tons) of the VR devices in question, which was notably one week after the company imported 40,000 kg (~44 US tons) of “game consoles,” unmistakably its Steam Machine Linux-based PC.

After the price hike of Steam Deck recently, I’m guessing something more ridiculous like 1400.
They claimed <$1000 at one point. So my guess is $999
The same point when they announced “early 2026”?
Idk, but we’re still in the first half of 2026 believe it or not
June is not early in the year.
Early/late is a spectrum (Im not being serious btw)
I hope not. I wasn’t personally planning on getting a steam machine (already have a Linux desktop that is more powerful and about the same sound and size wise), but I was actually looking at getting a frame, because I suspect Valve will get it right without over monetizing it. However, $700 was already sorta high in my mind, even if it does have surprisingly good specs.
