I still can’t get over The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Are there any games that can replace it? I want to try something newer, with better technology, but I hope they can be as rich and interesting as Skyrim.

Yeah it wasnt the worst, but it did take up alot of the play through even after getting the mount

Guessing you never made much use of the transformation spell scrolls? You can get those pretty early and even start crafting them if you are thoroughly doing things.

Even if you’re not investing in magic a scavenger scroll is only 5 mana. Why have a mount when you can just become the mount?

They are great for traveling and scouting. Other creatures even ignore you for the most part.

nah i went full melee except the initial 5 mana, and didn’t even use my scrolls until late game, with the meatbug. I had so many extra levels after the first sleeper temple that i started going mage but then the game ended.

Money and skills were a premium most of the game so spends either on scrolls would’ve been wasteful just to shave off a little travel time.

I’ve never had an issue with ore. From stealing, flipping goods strategically, and pushing rolls in New Camp and selling harvests to Cipher, I’m always pretty flush.

Hell, as a warrior you could have just flipped the daily rations from Swamp Camp for scavenger scrolls since you didn’t need em.

I made money once i got to new camp, but i had already done most of old and swamp by that point, then i rolled it all into armor upgrades. I also got the mount right after so scrolls would’ve been a waste for me. Plus what if i need that later…so i ended up with an inventory full of scrolls and potions at the end of the game plus thousands of ore ever after buy whatever i wanted at the end.

And that’s the beauty of this immersive game. My play was completely different.

I was also pretty liberal with my usage of consumables. I’m always blazing that smokeweed and I chugged potions like a kid discovering soda.

The scouting with scrolls is also a godsend permadeath. Things leave you alone to explore the wilderness. Granted, I don’t get to pick anything up along the way but I get to plan and sometimes straight avoid encounters over my head that are blocking my way somewhere.

I found that i wanted to kill everything i could and if it was pushing me back that it just wasnt for me yet. leveling was the strongest gains i got throughout as well as moving through the story to get better armor.

I wanted parts and didn’t want to wait on the long respawn times; so I kept the wildlife plentiful until I had the ability to acquire their better parts.

Leveling is the strongest gains but leveling doesn’t do crap if you accidentally run into something you’re not supposed to and get ganked cause you were unfamiliar with the area on permadeath.

To my knowledge there’s no respawn times. Things are added in new chapters. I regret ever getting the skinning skills. i doubt i even got back much more than i paid for them, and i could’ve used the money at the beginning but by the time it was paying off i didnt need the money.
