To mods: if you could see if the blackout sub might have any pertinent information that would be helpful!

Google has given previews that look possibly helpful. Ive also looked at the official warframe forums and they seem to not respond to this type of problem. At least i found a post from 2017 that seemed highly similar and no official response. Something about ipv6 causing issues. My setup only has ipv4 currently available.

Having a lot of weird issues lately trying to play the game. It started suddenly the other day (june 13th). Was finishing a mission and the game would not load past the mission complete screen so i forced closed the game. I was able to play another mission but it happened again. And after that i wasnt even able to launch the game as the launcher would get stuck on checking for updates.

The day after i was able to get into the game, logged in and such. I was able to interact with my foundry and subsume a frame. But when i went to go join a mission i got networking issues and kicked from the game. And then wasnt able to launch the game again.

I’ve also been using the mobile app. Which acts odd too when im having these connection issues. If im having network errors in the game, i cant use it unless i turn off wifi. If im able to use the app on wifi i seem to be able to launch the game on my computer but i haven’t been able to actually play a map since the 13th.

I’ve been trying to look up solutions but a lot of posts are locked by the current blackout. So im not sure if theres anything good to try

I have no issues with websites or playing other online games.

Ive been wondering if the issues with aws lately could be part of the problem.

Things I’ve tried:

  • router/modem reboot
  • computer restarts
  • forced public ip change
  • uninstall/reinstall (was using steam but switched to non-steam)

Edit: Well I have no idea what was going on but it seemed to have fixed itself? Was able to play today(15th). Though the load times into and out of missions were absurdly long.

The last thing I did was to mess with the ports a bit but there are two of us in the same house that play at the same time. And their game is also fixed without messing with the default options. (I do know Two on one network causes some issues, I was only testing things with my computer running the game while troubleshooting this, why I didn’t mention that earlier)

And if you read just a bit further you would see why I did not. We have hundreds of hours played together. I’ve already dealt with that and this was a sudden new problem this week.

My trouble shooting was with a single computer on Network playing Warframe. And my issues were largely with the application not wanting to launch in the first place.
