Finally got a real chainmail shirt and hood (coif)! Weighs 9 kg though the leg armour and sabatons are handmade by me from plastic. The gauntlets are also real steel. And the sword is only from wood and I left my real sword at home since I wasn’t sure if I was allowed to take it to the castle.

Your hauberk is quite a bit longer than mine. I should extend it one of these years, but I also have a pair of totally anachronistic chain pantaloons (complete with some rather beefy webbing strap suspenders…) so thus far I haven’t bothered.
