Finally got a real chainmail shirt and hood (coif)! Weighs 9 kg though the leg armour and sabatons are handmade by me from plastic. The gauntlets are also real steel. And the sword is only from wood and I left my real sword at home since I wasn’t sure if I was allowed to take it to the castle.
Not so great for the summer knights lol

Well it wasn’t too bad but it was windy that day and overcast. I am wearing it tomorrow and its meant to be 30 degrees so let’s see how I manage. Though it does have holes for ventilation at least.
