Israel-based defense company SMARTSHOOTER has secured a contract to provide its SMASH Hopper remote-controlled weapon stations to the Israel Ministry of Defense.

Israeli defense company SMARTSHOOTER has secured a 5.8-million new shekel ($1.9-million) contract to provide its SMASH Hopper remote-controlled weapon stations to the Israel Ministry of Defense.

Deliveries of the equipment will begin by the end of 2026 and include a six-month extension for the supply of additional spare parts and support services, depending on user requirements.

The award carries a potential value of 7.4 million new shekels ($2.5 million) if all options are exercised.
