He claims that DJI can access all of the footage I’ve taken. How is this possible?
I use an RC2 controller with the built in Android device. It doesn’t have internet access. I don’t use my phone to download pictures and video - when I get home, I pull the SD card out and read it off that.
I do occasionally boot the controller and drone at home to check for software updates, but that’s it. Most of my flying is done in a disconnected state.
So unless the controller also has a cellular modem (which would be slow, even with 5G service), I’m just not seeing how dji would get that video.
