You’re not paying attention. The one comment about the left was the original person that responded. The leftist part was that I can’t criticize someone for being disrespectful. I didn’t bother reading your full comment because you’re focusing on that part. Leftists say you can’t criticize them because they’re “being themselves”. The right says “you can’t criticize me, fucking freedom for me baby!” That’s literally the only thing people are attacking me for, despite it being a very tiny part of my argument. I appreciate you having more decorum than most of these responses and attempting to communicate, but I can’t believe I’m getting attacked by people id usually agree with, for saying “there’s some things you don’t do”. It’s legitimately bewildering. There’s some things you just don’t do. You don’t scroll tiktok with the sound on in public, you don’t grab food from the break room that isn’t yours, you don’t fart in elevators and you don’t wash your feet or cool down in national monuments. Like, those things aren’t along the lines of assault, murder, fraud or even theft, but ya just don’t do it.

This whole thing is a silly response that got out of hand for no reason and it’s feeling a lot like reddit. I’m done with any response after this, yours or anybody else’s.

That’s not left or right - that’s hyper individualism.

Which, as we saw from the Boomers both in the 1960s and since the 90s, is a cancer that can infect both the left and the right.

Exactly! It’s just the attitude and perspective that’s different! It’s all just people being self important.
