The Palestinian group Hamas has announced the dissolution of the body that has governed Gaza for nearly two decades, paving the way for a technocratic committee to implement civilian rule in the war-ravaged, besieged territory.

The move on Monday marks a significant political shift by Hamas, which has governed Gaza since its fighters seized control from rival Palestinian movement Fatah in 2007 after Hamas won legislative elections the previous year.

A Hamas official said the group wished for the swift entry of the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza (NCAG), a body which is tasked with overseeing the future administration of Gaza under a US-backed plan to end Israel’s genocidal war on the Palestinian territory.

To the point of discussion - the approving tweets from DNC bigwigs - the ceasefire that was then YET TO BE NEGOTIATED.

So - what ceasefire? The one that was subsequently negotiated, approved, signed and almost immediately ignored by Israel.

It has absolutely no relevance to the point I’m making. You might as well complain about the “Great American State Fair” for all it matters to my point that DNC leaders praised an effort towards a peaceful solution. That is all. If that - by itself - is a problem, then you can address that.

See your “what about the plan?!” friend below.

Its disingenuous to say Democratic leaders supported this genocide with congratulatory tweets on the peace proposal.

Democratic leaders suppeoted this genocide with billions of public funds and weapons sales.

It’s disingenuous to complain about tweets when my taxes went to kill children.

My argument that Democratic leaders weren’t supporting a fully negotiated agreement, the implication being that thereby their positions on Gaza were the same as trump’s.

Which you jumped in on, demanded to be proven wrong, were proven wrong and now which you don’t care about. That goal post.

I gave that fool a link proving that harris and biden celebrated the fake peace deal yet he still kept lying and claimed that harris and biden only praised the fake cease fire. and now he is accusing you of rejecting facts.

when it comes to Gaza their position was the same as Trump.

Nope. You’re basing that on a “hurray! a peace plan” tweet
