    So far so good!

    I use the DDG on my mobile, Android, for my daily driver browser. It just works. I think they have some form of “AI” but it’s easily avoidable.

    Search is comparable to G@@&)3 but isn’t (as far as i know) tracking you.

    I can’t say much because I do not search for many things; however, I do get results and they are helpful and not advertisements.

      I don’t quite get the point on platforms on which less limited options (like FF + uBlock + any search engine you want set as standard) are available. Main selling point is convenience, I guess?

        Diversity is fine because sometimes, a good thing changes quite suddenly for the worse. Firefox got a bit of heat when they implemented AI in the browser, even if it’s off by default, a lot of people decided that was too much of a bad sign and jumped to other browsers. Having options to satisfy your trust is good.

        I think the main selling point is awareness, at this point. Offer up the product to the public to show them what they’ve consented to with using Chrome / Edge / Firefox.

        They trout the privacy features, as they should - but a more advanced user can get better results with Firefox and an array of extensions.
