Yeah, they’re promising secure and safe passage for ships that comply with their rules from countries that aren’t attacking them. There’s no hypocrisy here. And no, both of them are not turds. The only turds here are the US and their vassals attacking Iran. They get exactly what they deserve here.

Now personally I think the only good and proper long term solution is to abolish all borders and see the world as (original Greek definition of…) “atomic” and (small-c, secular, dictionary definition of…) “catholic,” however I recognize that may be hundreds of generations away - so in the mean time I recognize that countries are going to defend their borders and those that can’t will be invaded and conquered.
Making an exception of Iran will only cause the US to invade and colonize.

The deal was Israel stops attacking Lebanon, and Iran gets 2 million or whatever dollars per ship crossing.
