Grodd is best known, imo, for just being an absolute dick. His portrayal in Justice League Unlimited by Powers Boothe is probably one of my favorite villains of all time. He’s a cold calculating genius who doesn’t tell anyone his plans until it’s too late; like turning the entire world into gorillas, or having Lex and a team of supervillains break into a highly secure black site all so they could steal something to decorate his office with. And he does the exact same way he lived; cold and calculated, by Lex reversing Grodd’s mind control powers and forcing him to walk out an airlock into space; and they showed every second of it on screen.

I’m a big fan of Gorilla Grodd and I thought we were going to get him during the first season of Peacemaker and was so excited. We did get big smart gorillas, but not Grodd. (Which ultimately was a good thing, given how it turned out.)

I think Grodd vs Olsen has some big potential.
I did forget about that one gorilla in Peacemaker. Technically not a resident of Gorilla City (like Grodd is) but still intelligent.
