Cherry and walnut. Five coats of food grade tung oil. Worked great. Made the beans flat

      I don’t really trim my nails and despite the physical abuse I put my hands through they don’t like to break on their own so they tend to get long enough to piss off women who pay a lot of money to have long nails.

      When my wife moved in and started eating the meals I cook she started complaining about how much harder it was getting to trim her nails. I didn’t say anything. Eventually she figured out that it was a sign of an improved diet.

          That’s just more maintenance I’m not going to do. It’s one thing to have jagged long nails. It’s another to have chipped polish.

            Yeah, obviously a nice oil finish would better bring out the natural qualities of your nails. Would you paint the Mona Lisa?
