    What did she expect?

I personally didn’t like GoT because of the nudity but a lot of people loved that aspect. And when a show features so much nudity, it creates an expectation and sets a standard for the series. Someone who willingly signed up for this deserves the the outrage for not meeting the standard. But that ultimately doesn’t mean she should be forced to do it, just that she shouldn’t be “shocked” given what the show is.

FYI her character goes nude in the scene, they just used a body double.

      Still understand the anger?

It actually doesn’t change what I think and maybe even further strengthens what I believe. GoT is a very sexual show which can create a lot of weird behavior from the audience. A huge aspect of it is literally porn and it’s not hard to realize that a lot of viewers are there for the porn. When those are your viewers, I can see a lot of people acting irrationally.

It’s the same irrational mentality with people who think parents can only love their children if they are biological. I’ve come to accept that a good chunk of people have a hard time grasping sexual and biological ideas in general. So if a show dares to delve into these topics, then they should expect and prepare for irrational behavior.

I don’t get this line of thought. Does that mean we need to be mad that Hodor or Arya didn’t get naked too? It just sounds like you’re saying that because there’s some nudity people are owed nudity from all the actors.

I agree with your point but I find it funny you picked those characters because they both did get nude lol

Basically when a piece of art is radical, expect a radical response. So being “shocked” is silly to me. That’s all.

There are plenty of shows where people appear nude, so what makes GoT “radical”? And why would it being radical justify people demanding to see the actors nude?

I never said it justifies it, I just said it is expected because that’s how people are. So being shocked about it is ridiculous to me. It’s bad, but don’t be “shocked” after being a part of a piece of radical art.

Ok however you want to phrase it you’re still dancing around the meaning of radical and how it creates this expectation.

In this case the meaning of radical is the presentation of intense nudity usually in the form of incest. I hope that cleared it up.

Not remotely - for starters there isn’t intense nudity, especially not compared to plenty of others shows, but even if it was and that made it radical, why does some nudity mean people will expect nudity from everyone?

You didnt like Game of Thrones because it had nudity? That is the dumbest shit I have ever read in my life.

It would be one thing if they were forcing these women to do nudity, and you didnt like it because of that. But disliking a show because people showed their bodies is legitimately the most insane take I’ve ever heard.

I mean there’s no way we can ever have common ground if you think having a preference is “legitimately the most insane take I’ve ever heard.” It’s like MAGA and progressives. I think you’re insane while at the same time you think I am insane.
