Between the smorgasbord of propaganda and ratings slop, withered attention spans and critical thinking skills, temporarily embarrassed millionaires and gilded age inequality, and folks that just can’t face how bad things really are, yea we are pretty fucked I guess. I completely agree. I fear that this global trend is linked to the combined power of mentally ill individuals who have amassed so much power that they are now using their pernicious influence to establish a kind of new, transnational monarchy of billionaires.
I can’t think of any other explanation for the resurgence of inhuman fascism in so many countries at the same time.
