The problem is that major companies have unsustainably, and against all easily available wisdom, started to run their companies like Private Equity/VC companies, who aren’t trying to build something of value but just profit from arbitrage or short windows of positive data.
Looks like extreme focus on short-term profits and shareholder value isn’t a great way to do long-term business.
