minus-square@merthyr1831link8•1 year agoMost of the unsupported CPUs are based on their TPM support. Windows can boot on much older CPUs if you bypass TPM. That being said, Windows already chugs on current gen hardware depending on your usecase so I’m not gonna recommend you try it lmao.
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink1•1 year agoYea I have a 2011v3 haswell e proc that isnt supported but the mobo has a tpm slot so I got a 7 dollar tpm2.0 module on ebay and was able to install win11 last year. Its fine for basic gaming.
