July 19 (Reuters) - The U.S. Food and Drug Administration said on Sunday that laboratory experts re-checked lettuce sample results from Taylor Farms in an investigation into an outbreak of the cyclospora parasite and concluded the finding should be considered a false positive. As of Sunday, there were no confirmed positive sample results for cyclospora, the FDA added.
The FDA on Saturday had said that a sample of shredded iceberg lettuce supplied by Taylor Farms tested positive for the parasitic illness that has sickened thousands of people in the U.S.
A spokesperson for Taylor Fresh Foods told Reuters that the company was informed the FDA made a mistake.

I’ve been eating Taco Bell weekly since I was a teenager, and I’m 45 now. I can’t think of a single time I’ve gotten sick from it. If all you eat is crap without any balance to your diet, it’s not the Taco Bell that’s the problem.
I remember the times McDonald’s and Hardee’s made me sick, but those times were 30ish years ago.
Taco Bell gives me the runs every time so I don’t eat it anymore. I’m otherwise a healthy eater.
Do you happen to have a dairy sensitivity without realizing the culprit? Do you load it up in fire sauce?
I do have a dairy sensitivity and I’m sure it’s related, although I take lactase pills which usually help. I did the “hot” sauce when I still ate it
I haven’t really eaten taco bell since I was a teenager so I couldn’t say it’s just easy to dunk on them I guess, I prepare most of my own food at home now because fast food is not even cheap and convenient crap anymore it’s just crap, it is what it is though. FWIW I don’t think I ever got sick from them either
