    Not sure, if better, but very different. It is linear, not just tiling. All windows are next to each other on a horizontal line and your screen moves across that horizontal space of windows.

      Gnome kind of does that with it’s workspaces. Would it just be one continuous scrolling workspace instead?

        You could imagine it like this, yes. And now imagine you have many independed scrolling workspaces. Maybe calling it linear was a bit confusing.
