Comedian Lenny Bruce was repeatedly arrested and prosecuted for “obscenity” for using swear words in his comedy act. All things that would be considered fairly tame and normal comedy today.

Pretty much anyone who was prosecuted using the Mann Act. Which was used to attack foreigners and undesirable minorities. Generally labeled them having girlfriends as “sex trafficking”.

Chaplin met Joan Barry, age 24, in 1941. He signed her to a $75-a-week contract for a film he was putting together, and she became his mistress. By mid-1942, Chaplin let her contract expire. To send her home, Chaplin paid her train fare to New York which led to his arrest.[23][25] Chaplin was acquitted of the charges.

Paid for your mistress to go home? Sex trafficking!

That is weird but people like Chuck Berry with the 14 year old needed to be taken down. Same for R Kelly, Ghislaine Maxwell, Diddy. I was hoping they would get that shithead Congressman from FL too, honestly.

Yes, it’s a sex trafficking law. Many of the most prominent examples, especially the older ones, were junk. They arrested the world heavyweight champion Jack Johnson because he had a white girlfriend. For ‘sex trafficking.’
