Are you sure you want a giant heat sink there instead of a garden? Concrete stores heat and emits it later… instead trees are helping to cool it
Yeah I was just thinking without some kind of cover/roof this is going to get so hot in the summer sun. But, maybe that’s just my obsession with NoLawns
Well, we’ll keep all the surounding untouched. The concrete is just the surface to accomodate outdoor kitchen, a table & hopefully, a jacuzzi or, for the times being, the kids “pool”. On top of the concret I’ll run some creeper vines in the to-be wooden patio. Rest assured that all the trees and surrounding pastures won’t move an inch. Before being concrete this was largelly gravel in any case. Heat behaviour has been a concern from the start but the balance tipped towards this outcome.
