Not sure how different it is for the PS2 (apart from Fat/Slim) but when buying an old PS1, the differences between 1000, 3000, 5000, 7000, and 9000 models can be quite a lot like the removed parallel port or a better laser.
Interesting. I’m a PC gamer myself, last PlayStation I had was the OG PS3. I suppose part of it is I like RTS games and keyboard and mouse when I’m playing shooters or just being able to tinker with my shit.
The older consoles are cool, before they just became computers.
