If we’re playing that game, when Spain won in 2010, they scored 8 goals. That’s the fewest ever for a champion. On the other hand, Argentina scored 15 in 2022 (2nd highest in world cup history).
Winning is about scoring one more goal than your opponent. Nobody cares when a team scores two if the opponent scored three.

It definitely does. Copa America is easier to win than the Euros, even more so if we take into consideration that South America hasn’t had four teams in the top 20 FIFA rankings in maybe thirty years now.
What I’m saying here is that, for all your claims that Spain is a newcomer with no actual tradition winning championships, then I’d argue that Argentina is a has-been that has recently been enjoying an exceptionally lenient treatment by FIFA, and an abnormal cycle of low competitiveness by other South American teams.
