Hopefully this isn’t breaking rules. Yes it is a veiled attempt at advice because I’ve been hemming and hawing. But the question can be answered purely as is. There are obviously pros and cons so I’d like to know how you all feel.

It hurts me so much that this is a reaction… In the US we literally get denied access to MRIs… I had a pain in my foot and the podiatrist said we’d need an MRI as nothing else would give him any useful info and the scumbag insurance company just says no it’s not needed get an ultrasound… So I paid for a useless ultrasound that didn’t show anything useful… So the Insurance company that I indirectly give $1,200/month to (lost potential compensation as the boss “pays”) never paid a dime…
Everything about the US is a fucking scam to funnel money to rich people.
