User management might be fine with Linux, but machine management can’t compete with GPOs, especially for managing Windows clients, which is what businesses are using for workstations whether we like it or not.
I left out machine management because it wasn’t being talked about but I’m pretty sure puppet and ansible fuck way more than winblows. And I don’t give a fuck about windows desktop management. Windows top to bottom is abhorrent and I don’t give a shit about the awful tools you need to use to administer it.
