Also, to be clear: when I say AI doesn’t listen, I mean it doesn’t listen to your instructions. Not that it’s not secretly listening through your phone and gathering data it shouldn’t be.
Try seeing the real enemy. Science is doing awesome stuff and not raping anything. Free software (like linux) is awesome and not raping anything. What is causing enshittification is capitalism.
Capitalism is raping natural resources. Other people are trying to protect it.
Capitalism is shittifying gaming by prioritising micro transactions over story and gameplay. Indie games are booming because they care about the games instead of profits.
Linux and other free software is booming because it’s not trying to harvest your data because it’s made by people who just want software that works.
Yes but the problem for me is that given capitalists run/control AI, they are pumping it full of bile. It’s like a balloon: the balloon itself may be harmless, but what if the company that makes them pumps it full of sewage? (Random example ik but it highlights my point)
