Did we see different guardians movies? Cause thats exactly what they all were. They all had their serious moments, but the entire premise was that they didn’t take themselves that seriously. The first one started with the main character kicking space rodents to eighties music and ended with a dance battle. Its most famous line is “Nothing goes over my head, my reflexes are too fast, I’d catch it”.
It was about as faithful a continuation as you could get.
See, exactly what I mean. I hate it, you and most of the others like it. And I don’t understand why, because for me it was an incredibly bad, cash grab follow up to a movie that had so much to give. You don’t understand it, I don’t. Doesn’t really matter, this is about my lack of joy while seeing the movie. You enjoying it doesn’t change anything.
Did I say anything about enjoyment? I said the movie followed in the footsteps of the first one.
Personally I thought the first was way overhyped for the exact criticisms you have of the second. I think it worked for what they wanted it to, and the sequels did the same, albeit in at least somewhat unique ways.
Theyre definitely not my favorite movies, especially in comparison to the source material. But they did what they were designed to, and relatively well. Even if you didn’t like them.
Same, that whole opening scene with baby groot (which in and of itself was horrible) running around would have had me walk out if i wasnt there with a bunch of friends
What, you didn’t like 15 marvel movies in a decade?
Isn’t that the lead up to End Game? Which came before the prevailing criticism of lack of quality?
Oh, to me I found the quality dropped with the 2nd guardians of the galaxy movie
I didn’t understand why people liked it so much. It was a cheap, dumb slapstick version of what should have been a continuation. I hated it.

Sure, continuation. Roughly the same characters.
You’re strangely aggressive about my opinion on something that doesn’t affect you in the slightest.
Bye
