      Edit, I know this isn’t every country, but in mine, I SWORE allegiance to mine when I was 5. Backed by someone’s God. Before I even knew what any part of that ever meant.

      I will say upfront I know that’s fucking insane and I hope it doesn’t happen everywhere, but it happens.
