I don’t know what else to tell you. Most people don’t vote, but no vain person is standing in line for two hours.

I once had to stand in line to vote for six hours.

This has nothing to do with gender, but very intriguing that you would go there.

“Pretty privilege” is the term they use and is what you’re expressing here - that “attractive people” are so vain and favoured by society that they can exist in a bubble where they don’t have to engage with reality. It’s a concept that’s absolutely fundemental to incel culture and is not gendered. The recent “looksmaxxing” trend is one of the more prominent expressions of the concept and is almost entirely masculine.

Not to defend the other commenter (really not) but pretty privilege has been studied and is scientifically sound.

Not like it’s used here and NOT how incels use it, but it is measurable and has been studied a lot in regards to career opportunities.

Incels use it as a kernel of truth which they surround with bullshit in order to sound scientific.

Yeah absolutely, that people have a more positive opinion/reaction towards people they are attracted to is well known. Captain Chuddo here is just regurgitating the rampant bullshit that [incels / andrew tate fans] try to present as an obvious extrapolation from that basic concept, and I didn’t want to dignify their behavior by quibblin’ over the technicalities.

I’ll have to take your word for most of that, I know nothing about the incel culture beyond the surface level. From what I do know, it does make sense they could take a concept like that and use it for evil.

But I never said attractive people don’t vote. I said people who think they’re attractive don’t vote. Being attractive isn’t the same as being vain. And I don’t think vain people vote; not absolutely, but I do think they are less likely to cast a ballot. Like I said earlier, voting turnout is abysmal on average for reasons that are amplified in a vain person’s psychology.

So your position now is that only self aware attractive people don’t vote?

For someone that supposedly doesn’t know anything about the culture, you’re really good at trotting out the Incel talking points.
