This week I’ve been I rebuilding my main water installation and also did some procrastination (i’m good at that!) on the boring task of isolating warm water pipes, but now it’s done.

    Not that I’m aware of. It’s still common practice. The problem is with water standing still over a period of time (if i remember well, over a week) end especially dead ends. I got rid of the dead ends and the waterheater is set to 70 degrees celcius. That ought to do it.

    edit: the well gives water at 6 degrees which is well below 18, so i’m good there too)
