I then read the rest of your comment. Surprisingly, not selectively reading your comment is something you should do.

Yes, you put a caveat on your statement. Putting a caveat on a statement doesn’t mean you didn’t make the statement. I see your caveat and still find it wanting.

Why would i be glad that he won if i think it is a loss? Yes this win is a win but it was a hard one despite Abdul phenomenal compaign . It still mean the zionist lobby is still strong. Are you seeing what is happened in the west bank . All aid need to be cut israel the quickest possible. In 5 years palestine may no longer exist. My preoccupations are very valid.

Dude. Majority American opinion changed on this topic in the last year and the first politicians that are running on antizionist platforms are winning. What do you want here, someone to go back in time to shift American opinion even earlier?

The most powerful lobby group in America is being overthrown in real-time and you’re complaining that they haven’t been overthrown yet. I understand the urgency of the issue, but getting overwhelmed by the size of the task when we’ve just now taken the first step is just ridiculous to me.

No you don’t understand the urgency of the situation and you don’t understand my comment. I am a realist I acknowledge this win, i am very happy about it, i also acknowledge it was not easy both are facts but idiots like you want to be blind and believe that few wins mean that aipac was overthrown. It is not. I have the right to be preoccupied about the situation while supporting the anti genocide camp to keep fighting .

This is my problem, dude. I’m not saying the fight is over, I’m saying celebrate the win. You claim you are and then you say me saying “celebrate the win” is cause I’m a moron who thinks it’s over. Can you see why that’s proof that you’re not actually taking the win? You’re going to burn yourself and a bunch of others out spouting this shit.

You know why movements that incorporate useful idiots get more shit done? Cause when they get the tiniest win they celebrate the shit out of it. That re-energizes them so they can then go out and accomplish an even bigger win. That shit compounds faster than capitalists bank accounts

If you always focus on the difficulty of what you’re trying to accomplish and never take a beat to acknowledge your successes, you’ll only ever see the difficulties. That basically guarantees that you’ll fail or only ever eek by on the bare minimum.

If you’re coming into a celebratory thread to throw some cold reality into it, maybe consider not doing so next time.
