    The Yom Kippur was was against Egypt and Syria and took 19 days which lead the a UN presence in the horn of Africa for 50 years

      The “badass Israeli military beset on all sides by enemies and standing strong” narrative has basically lost all sympathy in recent years.

      While they’re not just some militia rabble, Egypt and Syria are far from a competent force.

      Israel has a lot of expensive weapon systems funded by US taxpayers and a small corps of commandos adept at violating international law and sovereignty to achieve objectives, but the bulk of their forces are poorly trained and disciplined conscripts. Against a truly professional force I think they would get throttled. Is Iran that kind of force? Remains to be seen I suppose.

        By their record the IDF isn’t poorly trained, and we weren’t arguing fiscal and weapons support we were arguing that Isreal isn’t willing to sacrifice their own to fight.

        Is real has won every war they participated in until the US military got involved.

          War is supply chains. Ramadan War was won because of US supply chains beating that of USSR. Saying that Israel won the war solo is insane and shows your clear lack of knowledge.
