It’s a fucking cosplay girls sub. Anyone browsing that at work shouldn’t be surprised or shouldn’t be browsing it.

Not everyone’s browsing a cosplay girls sub, some people are browsing main.

      Per the sidebar:

Any post containing nudity /suggestive poses should be marked NSFW.

Given the bikini top, and lack of any body of water that would provide appropriate context for the clothing, it’s not hard to consider this “suggestive”.

Would you want your boss to see this on your screen?

Well I’m not dumb enough to browse shit in front of my boss, so non issue. Don’t want your boss to see it? Quit browsing sites that show this stuff while you’re working. Instead of, I don’t know, working? Easy enough to block anything you don’t want anyone to see. But I’d say if you’re just browsing lemmy at work you aren’t exactly too busy to make sure this doesn’t happen. Be mad. I don’t care. Maybe exclude COSPLAY GIRLS from your feed while browsing a site known for this shit while in a place that doesn’t allow it… Hardly OPs fault.

You’re wildly missing the point. This post will show up if you browse the /all feed, even if you’re not subscribed here. NSFW tags exist for a reason. This is that reason. That’s why it’s in the community rules.

Cosplay does not inherently infer that it’s meant to be erotic cosplay. In fact, the sidebar even says this is for SFW cosplay girls, and even provides a link to a sister community for NSFW content.

I’m not sure why this is so hard to grasp. Just follow the rules.
