Edit: This was from the 29th, by the way, which the astrologers among you could probably have figured out without looking at the EXIF data.

Negative. Insofar as I’m able to tell this was not caused by wildfire smoke, either. Our neck of the woods experienced that a couple of weeks ago (which is indeed where this red sun picture came from) but it seems to have blown away in the interim. This was with the moon very low in the sky, just a hand’s span or so over the river from my vantage point.
