Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey crosses $1 billion worldwide, becoming his third billion-dollar movie and his first to reach the milestone without Batman.
I watched a HD cam rip online of it so I could judge it on just the acting, story and directing. It doesn’t seem to be a very coherent movie. None of the actors are very good. The way they read their lines feels like they don’t care. The adaptation of the source material is very off and really all of it could’ve been done much better. I’m sure in IMAX, the focus is on the theme park ride aspect of it and that’s cool but it isn’t Nolans best work.
