I noticed that while making this. You would expect the Zat to do the whole erection thing here before Teal’c fires. But no, just a couple frames after what you see here in this meme, that Zat fires, from its flaccid position.
From memory the early zat props were either open or closed, they weren’t mechanical so the gave him the wrong one for that scene.
