    He doesn’t need help, he needs a spine and professional integrity. I’m sure his college offers courses on ethics. He should refresh his memory.

      If he needs a spine and professional integrity, then so do 95% of academia. Which suggests that policies need to change, not just individual behavior. Which is…what the author is advocating for.

        Sure, but when you know one thing is right and one thing is wrong you should do the right thing even if it isn’t the easiest thing, not carry on doing the wrong thing and writing articles about how you need others to start doing the right thing so you can too.

        Lately a sadly large percentage of the world seems to need a spine and integrity.
