So, if we if we want to trace it back, the 17th of October uh 2023, the Israelis fired a missile into the
courtyard of Ali Baptist Hospital, killing 483 Palestinians.
And uh this was the real tester.
They found Ahli hospital that was uh owned by the World Council of Churches, run by the Anglican Church in the UK.
And what they wanted to do was test their system. And the system, which is what what we saw after this genocide
started, which is the system of genocide enablement, i.e. the system that’s designed from the smallest most trivial
campus to the human rights organizations in New York to uh enable the genocide to
last as long as it did that it lasts till now.
So when the outrage happened uh within hours, the people responsible for allowing the Israelis to test the system successfully were Human Rights Watch and they were the ones and then Amnesty. They were the ones who produced a press release saying that they believe this is a Palestinian missile that was miss having not interviewed a single person in the hospital, having not interviewed any of the doctors.
And so uh uh once Israel was able to through this enablement process and I
remember that night getting phone calls of outrage outrage from from journalists
and then when HRW waded in and Amnesty waited in after that the Western journalists were basically telling you do not say Israel did this because Human Rights Watch said that they
And so he understood that this is in the genocide all of the institutions of power which include the NGO’s
uh all of the institutions of power were mustered in the service of the genocidal project.
Now, the job of of liberalsis to oppose policies in so much as never to change them or to
challenge them. And we saw this in the last few days with Karim Khan. Ken Roth, the ex head and the longest serving head
of of Human Rights Watch was central to uh uh having Karim Khan expelled uh extrajudicially, literally extraitically uh because that’s his job and it’s always been his job and it’s always been Human Rights Watch’s job is to make sure there is criticism but never criticism that could ever alter the outcome. And that stays within the margins of misguided policies or hijacked policies.
